Best Practices for Using Proxy with Scrapy: How to Avoid Getting Blocked?

Using proxy with scrapy is a pain, but it’s doable.

I’d recommend trying out Scrapy-rotating-proxies. It’s a lifesaver for IP rotation.

Headers are super important—use scrapy-fake-useragent to randomize them.

Delays? I set mine to 1-5 seconds. It’s a good range to avoid blocks.

And yeah, free proxies are a no-go. I use Luminati, and it’s been worth every penny.
