What Are the Key Limitations of Proxies and How Do They Impact Performance?

Hey everyone,

So, I’ve been digging into proxies lately, and man, the *limitations of proxies* are kinda wild. Like, they’re super useful for anonymity and bypassing geo-blocks, but they can really slow things down. Latency is a big one—some proxies add so much delay that it feels like you’re back on dial-up, lol.

Also, not all proxies handle encryption well, which is a bummer if you’re trying to keep things secure. And don’t even get me started on IP bans—some sites are *super* quick to block proxy IPs, which totally defeats the purpose.

Oh, and reliability? Yeah, that’s hit or miss. Free proxies especially can just drop outta nowhere, leaving you hanging.

Anyone else run into these *limitations of proxies*? Curious how y’all work around them!

Cheers!
