Hey everyone,
So I’ve been thinking about using a fake IP for a while now, mostly to access some geo-restricted content and maybe keep my online activity a bit more private. But I’m kinda confused—is it actually safe and legal? Like, I don’t wanna get into trouble or mess up my device.
From what I’ve read, using a fake IP *can* be safe if you’re using a reliable VPN or proxy. But there’s always a risk of shady services logging your data or worse, malware. Legally, it’s a gray area. Like, it’s fine for privacy, but if you’re using it to bypass stuff you’re not supposed to (cough, streaming sites, cough), that’s where it gets sketchy.
Anyone here have experience with this? Did you run into any issues or is it all good as long as you’re careful? Also, any recommendations for tools that don’t suck?
Thanks in advance!
