So, I’ve been reading up on *transparent proxies* lately, and I’m kinda confused. Like, they’re supposed to hide your online activity, right? But from what I gather, they’re not exactly *stealth mode* lol.
A transparent proxy kinda just sits there, routing your traffic without you even knowing (hence the name, duh). But here’s the thing—does it *actually* hide your activity? I mean, it doesn’t encrypt anything, so isn’t your data still out there for anyone to snoop on? 🤔
Also, some sites can still see your real IP even with a transparent proxy in play. Sooo… what’s the point? Am I missing something here?
