Lol, been there. Schools are sneaky with their firewalls, but yeah, proxy unblocker school tools can work if you find the right one.
I’ve had luck with Hide.me (they have a free version) and VPNBook. Both are decent for bypassing restrictions, but they might not work forever. Schools update their blocks all the time.
As for safety, just don’t do anything dumb like trying to access super sketchy sites. Stick to harmless stuff, and you should be fine.
