How Effective is IP Masking for CRM in Protecting User Privacy and Data Security?

Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been digging into this whole *IP masking for CRM* thing lately, and honestly, I’m kinda torn. On one hand, it sounds like a solid way to keep user data private, right? Like, masking IPs so businesses can’t track every little move you make. But on the other hand, does it *really* do enough to protect privacy?

I mean, sure, IP masking for CRM hides the user’s IP, but what about other data points? If the CRM still collects emails, names, or browsing habits, isn’t that just a half-measure? Feels like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound, y’know?

Also, how effective is it against *actual* threats? Like, if someone’s determined to hack the system, will IP masking for CRM even slow them down? Idk, maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’d love to hear what y’all think.

Anyone else feel like it’s more hype than actual security? Or am I just being paranoid? 😅
