Puppeteer vs Selenium for SERP Scraping: Which Tool is Better for Your Needs?

Alright, so I’ve been diving into this whole Puppeteer vs Selenium for SERP scraping debate, and honestly, it’s kinda driving me nuts. Like, both tools have their pros, but it really depends on what you’re tryna do.

Puppeteer is super fast and lightweight, which is great if you’re scraping a ton of pages and don’t wanna deal with a bloated setup. But man, the learning curve can be a bit steep if you’re not super comfy with Node.js.

Selenium, on the other hand, feels more flexible and has support for multiple languages, which is a lifesaver if you’re not a JS wizard. But it’s slower and can be a pain to set up sometimes.

For SERP scraping specifically, I’d lean towards Puppeteer if speed is your thing, but Selenium if you need that extra flexibility. What do y’all think? Anyone else torn between these two?
