Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been trying to figure out how to use proxy macOS for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a bit of a headache. But I finally got it working, so I thought I’d share what I learned in case anyone else is struggling.
First off, you gotta go to System Settings > Network > Wi-Fi/Ethernet > Details > Proxies. From there, you can manually set up your proxy settings. It’s pretty straightforward, but make sure you have the right proxy address and port number handy.
Also, if you’re using a specific app that needs a proxy, some apps have their own proxy settings. So, double-check that too.
One thing I messed up at first was forgetting to toggle the proxy on after setting it up. Duh, right?
Anyway, hope this helps someone out. If you’ve got any other tips or tricks for using proxy macOS, drop ‘em below! Cheers!
