PixelScan is alright, but it’s not perfect. I tried it for extracting text from images, and it worked fine for simple stuff.
For complex images, though, it kinda falls short. Like, if there’s overlapping text or weird lighting, it misses a lot.
If you’re okay with spending some time tweaking settings, it’s worth a shot. Otherwise, maybe look into something like Tesseract OCR—it’s free and works better for text-heavy images.
