If you’re dead set on free, try Windscribe’s free plan. It’s decent, but you’ll hit data limits pretty quick. For a japan proxy server, paid is def the way to go if you want consistent access.
Also, make sure to clear your cookies/cache before connecting. Sometimes sites still block you even with a proxy.
