ProxyCap can be a bit finicky, yeah. One thing that worked for me was setting up a dummy proxy in the app itself (like 127.0.0.1:8080) and then routing that through ProxyCap. It’s a bit of a workaround, but it forces the app to play nice. Also, make sure you’re running ProxyCap as admin—some apps need elevated permissions to route properly.
