Has anyone tried SocksDroid recently? How reliable is it for bypassing restrictions?

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried socksdroid again last night, and it worked okay, but it’s definitely slower than I remember. I think I’ll give ProtonVPN a shot since a few of you recommended it.

Also, does anyone know if socksdroid still supports SOCKS5? I couldn’t find any info on their site, and I’m curious if they’ve dropped it.
