Yo, I had the same problem with foxyproxy proxy acting up on some sites. Turns out, it was a DNS issue. Try enabling "DNS over HTTPS" in your browser settings or use a tool like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 app.
Also, patterns are def the way to go for most setups. Manual whitelisting is too much work unless you’re dealing with a super specific use case.
