Yo! Resty use SOCKS5 proxy is def possible, but yeah, it’s a bit of a pain. I’d recommend using `curl` with the `--socks5` flag as a workaround if Resty’s giving you trouble.
Performance-wise, it’s hit or miss. If your proxy is close to the server, you might see some speedups, but if it’s far, it could slow things down.
