Yo, I feel your pain lol. The apartments.com API to get costs is a bit of a beast. I managed to get it working by using their sandbox environment first—it’s way less stressful than jumping straight into production.
For auth, I used their API key method, but OAuth is probably better if you’re doing something more complex.
Oh, and heads up: their error messages are *not* helpful. Took me forever to figure out why my requests were failing. Turns out I was missing a required header. 🙃
