How to Implement Explicit Wait in Playwright Java for Reliable Test Automation?

20 Replies, 1291 Views

Hey! I’ve been using explicit wait in Playwright Java for a while now, and I’ve found that `page.waitForSelector()` with a timeout works best for static elements. For dynamic stuff, `page.waitForFunction()` is your friend.

Also, don’t forget to handle exceptions properly. Sometimes the flakiness is just because the wait times out.

If you’re looking for more examples, the Playwright docs are super helpful. Hope this helps!
