Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been thinking a lot about the scraping of information lately. Like, is it cool or nah? On one hand, it’s super useful for research, business, and stuff. But on the other hand, doesn’t it kinda feel like snooping?
I mean, scraping of information from public sites seems fine, but what if it’s personal data? That’s where it gets sketchy, right? Like, where’s the line between useful and creepy?
Also, some sites don’t even know their data’s being scraped. Is that fair? Or is it just part of the internet game now?
Idk, just my thoughts. What do y’all think? Is scraping of information ethical, or does it cross the line into privacy invasion?
Let’s discuss!
