I think Sephora’s price strategy is all about the *experience*, like you said. The stores are gorgeous, the staff is super helpful, and the samples are a nice touch. But yeah, the prices can feel steep.
What I’ve started doing is using Sephora to test products in-store and then buying them online during sales. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it saves me some cash.
Also, have you checked out Mercari or Poshmark? Sometimes people sell unopened Sephora products for way less.
