Hey! I’ve been using resty set socks5 proxy for a while, and yeah, you need to manually set the proxy address, port, and credentials if your proxy requires auth.
For testing, I use Burp Suite—it’s great for debugging proxy setups.
Performance-wise, it’s pretty lightweight, but if your proxy is slow, it’ll def slow things down. Maybe try a faster proxy if you’re noticing issues.
