java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out - How to troubleshoot and fix this issue?

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been hitting this annoying error: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out. It keeps popping up when my app tries to connect to a server, and I’m kinda stuck on how to fix it.

I’ve checked the server logs, and it seems fine, so I’m guessing it’s something on my end. I’ve already tried increasing the timeout values, but no luck.

Anyone else dealt with this before? Is it a network issue, or am I missing something obvious?

Also, does anyone know if there’s a way to debug this better? Like, how do I figure out *why* the read is timing out?
