"Why Is My Traceroute Test Proxy Showing Unexpected Hops?"
Hey folks,
So I ran a traceroute test proxy to check some network lag, but the results are weird af. There are like 3 extra hops I’ve never seen before?
Is this normal or is something fishy going on?
I thought a traceroute test proxy would just show the usual path, but now I’m seeing random IPs. Could it be a misconfigured proxy or maybe some kinda routing loop?
Anyone else run into this? Tips appreciated!
(Also, if you know a better way to use a traceroute test proxy for this, lmk. Maybe I’m doing it wrong lol.)
Thanks!
