Getting a 407 Error - Proxy Authentication Required. How Do I Fix This? or Why Am I Seeing a 407 Erro

Had this exact 407 error last month! For me, it was my ISP’s "transparent proxy" (ugh).

Called them, and they disabled it on their end. Maybe check with your internet provider if you’re at home?
