CoStar is definitely the big player, but yeah, the cost is brutal. I’ve had decent luck with Reonomy—way more affordable and their commercial real estate data is pretty solid for property ownership and sales history.
Also, don’t sleep on local county assessor sites. They’re free and usually up-to-date, just a pain to dig through.
LoopNet’s okay for listings, but I wouldn’t rely on it for deep analytics.
