How Do I Properly Structure a curl GET Request for API Calls? or What’s the Best Way to Send a curl G

"Why Is My curl GET Request Not Returning the Expected Data?"

Hey everyone,

I’m kinda stuck here. Trying to make a simple curl get request to an API, but the response isn’t what I expected. Here’s what I’m running:

```bash
curl https://api.example.com/data
```

I *think* I need to add headers or maybe params? But not sure how to format it right.

Also, does the order of flags matter in curl get requests? Like, should `-H` come before the URL?

Any tips or examples would be awesome. Thanks!

"How to Pass Query Parameters in a curl GET Request?"

Yo,

Quick question—how do you add query params to a curl get request? I’ve seen people do it like `?key=value`, but when I try:

```bash
curl "https://api.example.com/search?q=test"
```

it just ignores the `q=test` part. Am I missing something?

Do I need to escape the `&` or something? Help a noob out!
