I’ve been digging into the google scholar api for a project, but man, it’s been a headache. The docs are kinda vague, and I keep hitting rate limits.
Has anyone actually gotten this to work smoothly? Like, pulling paper metadata, citations, or author data without getting blocked?
Also, is there a legit way to access it, or are most people just scraping and praying? Would love to hear if you’ve found workarounds or better alternatives.
