Getting Error 407 - Proxy Authentication Required. How Do I Fix This? or Error 407: Proxy Won't Let M

"Getting Error 407 - Proxy Authentication Required. How Do I Fix This?"

Hey everyone,

So I keep hitting this error 407 when trying to connect to certain sites. Says "Proxy Authentication Required," but I have no idea what credentials it wants.

Anyone else run into this? I’m on a work network, so maybe it’s some corporate proxy thing? Tried restarting and checking settings, but no luck.

Also, is there a way to bypass it (without getting in trouble, lol)? Or do I just gotta suck it up and ask IT?

Thanks in advance!

"Error 407: Proxy Won't Let Me Connect. Any Solutions?"

Ugh, error 407 is driving me nuts. Every time I try to load a page, it’s like "hey, authenticate first!" But I don’t even know what proxy it’s talking about.

Checked my browser settings, and everything *seems* fine. Is this a network issue? Or maybe my antivirus messing with things?

If you’ve fixed this before, pls share how! I’m stuck in a loop here.

Randomly started getting error 407 today. "Proxy Authentication Required" – but I didn’t change any settings?

Tried clearing cache, switching browsers... nada.

Is this on my end or the network’s? And how do I even authenticate if I don’t have proxy credentials?

Help a confused soul out!
