"Can You Permanently Block IP Addresses on Discord? Here’s How"
Alright, so I’ve been dealing with some trolls and spam accounts lately, and I’m *done* with it. I keep banning them, but they just come back with new accounts. Super annoying, right?
I’ve been digging around for how to permanently block ip addresses on discord, but it’s not as straightforward as I hoped. Discord doesn’t give mods or admins direct IP blocking tools (kinda frustrating ngl).
Some workarounds I’ve seen:
- Server bans (obviously, but they can bypass with alts)
- IP banning via bots (some claim to do it, but idk how reliable that is)
- Reporting to Discord (if they’re really bad, Discord *might* IP ban them)
Anyone got a *real* method for how to permanently block ip addresses on discord? Or are we stuck playing whack-a-mole with these losers?
(Also, pls don’t suggest “just ignore them” – some of us wanna keep our servers clean lol.)
