Subject: Can someone explain what is concurrency in simple terms?
Hey everyone!
I keep hearing about "what is concurrency" in programming, but I’m kinda lost. Like, is it just doing multiple things at once? Or is there more to it?
Also, how’s it different from parallelism? They sound similar but I feel like there’s a catch.
And why does it even matter? Like, do apps actually use this in real life or is it just theory stuff?
Sorry if this sounds basic, but I’m trying to wrap my head around it. Any simple examples would be awesome!
Thanks in advance
(Also, if I messed up any terms, pls correct me—still learning here!)
