Honestly, it depends on what you wanna do. If you're into Android apps, Java's the way to go. But if you're leaning towards game dev or Windows apps, c sharp is solid.
Performance-wise, both are pretty close, but c sharp might edge out in gaming cuz of Unity. Java’s got the edge in big enterprise systems tho.
