"Is Geonode Proxy the Best Free Proxy Solution for Web Scraping?"
Hey folks, been testing out geonode proxy for a small scraping project and wanted to share my thoughts.
First off, the free tier is *decent*—you get a handful of IPs, but don’t expect miracles. Speed’s okay, but I’ve had a few timeouts.
Biggest plus? Rotating IPs *actually work* most of the time, which is rare for free proxies. But if you’re doing heavy-duty scraping, you might hit limits fast.
Anyone else tried geonode proxy for bigger jobs? Curious if upgrading’s worth it or if I should just switch to paid alternatives.
Also, how’s the success rate with anti-bot systems? I’ve had mixed results.
