What’s the deal with domain .proxy? Is it worth using for privacy? or Has anyone actually used a doma

I’ve actually tried domain .proxy for a small project, and it’s... interesting. It doesn’t hide your IP like a VPN, but it acts as a middleman for DNS requests. So, your registrar doesn’t see your real IP, but the site you’re visiting still might.

Pricing’s a bit steep compared to .com, but if you’re paranoid about WHOIS leaks, it’s kinda neat.

Still, I’d pair it with a VPN or Tor for real privacy.

Check out Njalla for similar privacy-focused domains—they’ve been around longer and are more transparent.
