Hey, so I did some digging on domain .proxy, and here’s the deal:

It’s *not* a VPN alternative. It masks your registrar info, but that’s about it. Your traffic isn’t encrypted, and your IP isn’t hidden from the sites you visit.

Pricing-wise, it’s like 2-3x a .com, which feels like a ripoff unless you *really* care about hiding your domain ownership.

For actual privacy, ProtonVPN + a regular domain with WHOIS protection works better.
