Hey everyone,

So I keep hearing about using a proxy server on PS4, but I’m kinda lost. Like, what is a proxy server on PS4 exactly? Is it just for hiding your IP or does it actually help with speed/lag?

From what I’ve gathered, it’s like a middleman between your console and the internet. But does it really make a difference for gaming? Or is it more for bypassing region locks?

Also, is it safe? I don’t wanna mess up my connection or get banned or something.

If anyone’s used one, pls share your experience. Worth it or nah?
