How Do I Set Up a Comcast Static IP for My Home Network? or Is Getting a Comcast Static IP Worth It f

OP here—thanks for all the replies! Sounds like I’ll have to bite the bullet and call Comcast for the static ip.

Quick update: I tried No-IP as a temp fix, and it’s... okay. But yeah, the static IP seems like the way to go.

One last Q: Anyone know if Comcast lets you pick your own IP, or is it random? Just curious.
