How Do I Set Up an Xfinity Static IP for My Home Network? or Is Getting an Xfinity Static IP Worth It

I tried sneaking a static IP on my residential plan... didn’t work. Xfinity caught on fast lol.

Business class is the only way, and it’s pricy. But if you need reliable remote access, it’s solid.

For lag, try a better router or QoS settings first. Static IP won’t fix that.
