So I keep hearing about using a proxy server for PS4, but I’m kinda confused. Like, what is the proxy server for PS4 actually *for*?

Is it just for faster downloads or does it help with lag too? And how does it even work? Do I just plug in some numbers and boom, better connection?

Also, is it worth setting up? I don’t wanna mess with my internet if it’s not gonna make a difference lol.

Anyone here tried it? Would love some real-world advice before I dive in.
