IMO, the hype is real—but only if you’re scraping aggressively. Smart proxies handle rate limits and geo-blocks way better than traditional ones.
That said, they’re not a silver bullet. You still need good headers, user-agent rotation, etc. Pair them with ScraperAPI or similar, and you’re golden.
