Switching from socks to ip isn’t too hard if you’ve got the right tools. I’ve had success with ProxyFire—it’s got a built-in converter that’s pretty reliable.
Alternatively, if you’re working with HTTP proxies, you can just curl the proxy and grab the IP from the response headers. Not sure if that fits your use case, though.
