"Can someone explain proxy server chrome settings in simple steps?"
Hey guys, newbie here. Trying to figure out how to set up proxy server chrome settings but all the guides are way too technical.
Like, do I just go into Chrome settings > Advanced > System > Open proxy settings? Or is there more to it? Also, what’s the deal with HTTP vs. SOCKS proxies? Which one’s better for basic browsing?
And how do I even *find* a good proxy to use? Free ones seem sketchy, but paid options are confusing af.
Pls help a confused soul out! 🙏
(Also, if my proxy server chrome settings aren’t working, what’s the first thing I should check?)
