I’ve had luck with Hola VPN’s free proxy extension. Not exactly a traditional proxy, but it gets around blocks and speeds are okay.
Just be careful with the free version—some say it’s sketchy, but I haven’t had issues.
For good proxy sites, it’s a decent temp fix.
