"Do Anonymous Proxies Actually Keep You Anonymous?"
Hey folks, been digging into anonymous proxies lately and... idk, feels kinda hit or miss? Like, they *say* they hide your IP and all, but how much can you really trust 'em?
I’ve heard some ppl swear by ‘em for basic privacy stuff—avoiding geo-blocks, hiding from snoopy ISPs, whatever. But then others claim they’re just a band-aid, especially if the proxy logs your data (yikes).
So what’s the deal in 2024? Are anonymous proxies still legit, or are we just fooling ourselves?
Kinda curious if anyone’s had real success (or horror stories) with ‘em. Also, any recs for ones that don’t suck?
