Are Anonymous Proxies Still Effective for Privacy and Security? or How Reliable Are Anonymous Proxies

Anonymous proxies are *okay* for light stuff, but they’re not magic. If the proxy keeps logs, you’re basically handing your data to someone else.

I’ve used HideMyAss (not the best rep, but works in a pinch) and ProxySite for quick browsing. But honestly, if you’re serious about privacy, you gotta layer up—Tor + proxies or just accept that a no-log VPN is better.

Also, check if the proxy supports HTTPS. If not, it’s basically useless for real anonymity.
