Proxies? Meh. They’re better than nothing, but not by much. If the proxy keeps logs, you’re screwed. And a lot of free ones do.

Ever heard of Tor? That’s way better for anonymity. Combine it with a VPN, and you’re golden.

But if you’re just trying to bypass geo-blocks, a proxy might work. Just don’t trust it with sensitive stuff.
