How to Look Up IP Address from Email – Is It Possible and How? or Can Someone Explain How to Look Up

Thanks for all the tips, guys! I tried the "Show original" thing in Gmail and found the IP.

Pasted it into mxtoolbox, and it showed the general location—kinda creepy but useful.

One question tho: what if the IP leads to some random server? Does that mean the sender’s hiding behind it, or is it just a dead end?
