"Forward Proxy vs. VPN: Which One Should You Use?"
Hey folks, I’m kinda confused about this. I know both a forward proxy and a VPN can hide your IP, but what’s the *real* difference?
Like, a forward proxy seems simpler—just routes your traffic through another server, right? But a VPN encrypts everything. So is a proxy enough for basic privacy, or do I *need* a VPN?
Also, does a forward proxy slow things down as much as a VPN sometimes does? Or am I totally off base here?
