ipinfo-io is decent for basic stuff, but if you need pinpoint accuracy, you might wanna check out MaxMind.
I’ve used both, and MaxMind’s GeoIP2 tends to be more precise, especially for city-level data.
That said, ipinfo-io wins for simplicity and free tier. If you’re just doing casual projects, it’s *good enough*.
But yeah, sometimes the city is off by a few miles. Annoying but not a dealbreaker.
