I’ve compared ipinfo-io with a bunch of others, and here’s the tea:

- Free tier: ipinfo-io wins.
- Accuracy: DB-IP is slightly better, but it’s paid.
- Ease of use: ipinfo-io again.

So yeah, unless you’re willing to pay, ipinfo-io is the best balance. The city thing is a known issue tho.
