I’ve been trying to figure out how to track an ip for a project I’m working on (nothing sketchy, promise lol). But there’s so much conflicting info out there—some say use command prompt, others say online tools, and half the stuff doesn’t even work.
What’s the *actual* best way to do it? Like, are those free ip lookup sites reliable or just garbage? And do I need special software?
Also, low-key worried about the legal side… is it cool as long as I’m not hacking or whatever?
Any tips or tools you’ve used that *actually* work? Appreciate the help!
