The limitations of ChatGPT web browsing are why I mostly stick to its pre-2023 knowledge. At least then I know what to expect.
For newer stuff, I’ve been using Brave’s Summarizer tool—it’s faster and handles paywalls better. Not as conversational, but way more reliable.
Also, pro tip: if ChatGPT gives you a “summary” that feels off, ask it to quote the exact text it’s referencing. Usually catches the BS.
