"Need help creating a Reddit account—any tips for beginners?"
Hey everyone! So I’m finally diving into Reddit but lowkey overwhelmed. Any pro tips for someone just creating a Reddit account?
Like, should I use my real email or a throwaway? And what’s the deal with usernames—do ppl actually care if mine’s cringe? Also, any settings I should tweak right away to avoid spam or weird DMs?
Also, is the app better than the website for creating a Reddit account? Saw some mixed reviews.
Kinda nervous about messing up early lol. Any common mistakes to avoid? Appreciate the help!
(PS: If there’s a "secret" to not getting lost in the chaos, pls share 😅)
